Farnesol Farnesol is naturally occuring in essential oils such as roses, neroli and ylang-ylang. In Dr. Hauschka Skin Care Farnesol is never added as an isolated or synthetic substance. Where present it is always as a component of natural essential oils. We declare it individually as required under European allergy disclosure regulations.

Sodium Cetearyl Sulfate Sulfating fatty alcohols derived from plant oils makes them more hydrophilic ("water loving") so they mix into oils more readily. Sulfated fatty alcohols act as emulsifiers to help bind the oil and water components of creams as well as provide hydrating properties.

Foeniculum Vulgare (Fennel) Seed Extract The small fennel fruits grow in airy clusters called umbels. Many of us first experience the soothing effect of fennel tea as babies. The fennel fruit extract in Dr. Hauschka Skin Care products is prepared using our own special rhythmic process.
