Which face moisturizer suits your skin?

Every Dr. Hauschka Day Cream has a different composition and effect on your face. In all of them, extracts from different medicinal plants are combined with specially selected oils or high-quality waxes. The cream creates a protective layer on your skin whilst providing valuable stimuli: refreshing, soothing, toning, balancing, moisturizing and regenerating. To complement our day creams, our natural skin care range also includes day lotions and a Clarifying Day Oil. The premium oil extracts in the Clarifying Day Oil regulate oily skin and help to reduce inflammation. The fresh, light textures of the moisturizing lotions are quickly absorbed and provide reliable all-day protection for your skin. It all started with Rose Day Cream.

Dr. Rudolf Hauschka founded WALA back in 1935 and made a name for himself with natural medicines. A cosmetics range, which worked with the same medicinal plant extracts, seemed to be a logical progression from there. But first, in collaboration with cosmetologist Elisabeth Sigmund, bases for creams that did not need chemical or synthetic emulsifiers to stabilize them, and fragrance blends with natural essential oils were made. The first natural cosmetics by Dr. Hauschka came onto the market in 1967 with Rose Day Cream taking the lead – still a classic in our Skin Care range today.

Dr. Hauschka Regeneration: Face Moisturizer for mature skin.

Mature skin has its own demands. It enjoys a skin care regime that smooths and tones, activates moisture and supports its structure. In our Anti-Aging Skin Care, alongside our Regenerating Day Cream, Regenerating Day Cream Complexion, Regenerating Serum, and two intensive treatments, you will find several other natural skin care compositions for your face.

Is a different face moisturizer needed in winter than in summer?

The cold outside as well as the dry air from the central heating inside takes a toll on your skin in winter. If until now you have been using Soothing Day Lotion or Rose Day Cream Light, you can switch to Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream or our Tinted Day Cream, both of which offer a little extra protection. Another option is to add one of these two creams to your own facial care routine to keep your skin well hydrated. When spring comes round again, you can go back to a lighter skin care routine. .

Why Dr. Hauschka products don’t come with UV protection.

In summer the question of UV protection comes up. Our facial care products contain neither chemical or synthetic nor mineral light protection. However, if necessary, you can combine our natural skin care with sun protection products. . An argument against permanent light protection is that it affects the absorption of vitamin D and your skin is unable to gradually get used to the sun. For this reason, we leave choosing adequate sun protection up to you and continue to make day creams without UV protection.
