Moisturizing and Soothing
When I first tried this cleansing balm last year, I initially did not care for it at first. The texture was new to me and I was not used to it, so I set it aside and did not use it for a few weeks. But as winter came on, my face was getting so dry, I decided my cleansing needed to be adding moisture and protection, so I reached back for this cleansing balm. After using it for a few days, I started really loving to use it. It was providing moisture to my skin while refreshing and just left my face feeling soft and ready for the day, prepared to take on the dry winter air. It is now my favorite cleanser.

does a great job
Although I do not enjoy the feel or smell, this product is really great for my skin. I have mature, dehydrated skin with patches of flakiness /redness and enlarged pores on my nose. Despite not being the most pleasurable cleanser from Dr. H.(that goes to the cleansing milk for me) it really has helped my skin. Patches of red/flaky skin gone and the pores on my nose are much refined. Use every AM in the shower so I have plenty of time to have water rinse off the feeling of it still being on my skin. Think it must be the calcium carbonate (chalk) that so finely and gently polishes the skin.
