Take a little time out with our Clarifying Steam Bath. While you enjoy a moment of peace, quiet and stillness, the nurturing plant extracts rise on the warm steam and start to take effect: Dr. Hauschka Clarifying Steam Bath activates enlivens the skin’s metabolism, softens blackheads and reduces the appearance of blemishes.
If your skin is also prone to blemishes elsewhere, you can apply the steam bath as a compress to your décolleté and back.
Clarifying Steam Bath supports the skin’s natural self-cleansing functions, opening pores, reducing the appearance of redness and softening blackheads and impurities before deep cleansing. Recommended for all skin conditions and especially helpful to blemished and combination skin.
Formulation: Nasturtium, daisy and witch hazel support the skin’s self-cleansing processes, encourage natural exfoliation and minimize the appearance of enlarged pores.

Shake Clarifying Steam Bath thoroughly before use. Once or twice each week, dilute two tbsps. of Clarifying Steam Bath with approx. 1/2 liter (1 pint) of steaming water in a large bowl. For sensitive skin, ensure that the water is not too hot. Lean over the bowl, covering the head with a towel, and steam for 10-15 minutes for oily or combination skin, 5-10 minutes for dry to normal skin, and 3-5 minutes for sensitive skin.
Ideally, follow with Clarifying Clay Mask.
We recommend weekly use of Revitalizing Mask following Clarifying Steam Bath and Clarifying Clay Mask to help soften the appearance of scarred skin and reduce the appearance of redness.

Dr. Hauschka Clarifying Steam Bath
This is a wonderful product that helps me unwind. The scent is light and uplifting, and although I don't usually stay under the tented towel for the full 10 minutes, it's effective. I love the gentle caress of the steam combined with the refreshing scent. This would be wonderful in the mornings to wake up to as part of a routine if you have the time.

I Use This Weekly!
I have struggled with adult acne nearly 20 years, and recently have ended up with dry skin as well as those nasty breakouts. However, Dr. Hauschka's skin care line has been a game changer for me! This is one product I use religiously every week. I personally really like the smell, and it does NOT dry out my skin after steaming! Once a week, I put about a teaspoon of this product in my home facial steamer and steam for 10 minutes. I follow that with the Clay Mask and then soothing mask afterward. I cannot skip a week of this steam bath; I have seen a dramatic improvement in my overall skin condition: acne has improved, blackheads are gone, pores are small, and my face is feeling less dry and even - dare I say - glow-y!
