Cleanse, moisturize, tone – these three steps apply to our hair care line as well as our skin care range. The first step is performed with our silicone-free Shampoo. It gently cleanses your hair, preparing it for the next stages of your hair care routine. For our Shampoo, we process high-quality apricot kernel oil and nurturing plants, very mild surfactants and, for the first time, a protein-rich chickpea extract. This makes Dr. Hauschka Shampoo suitable for all hair types and for everyday use. It will envelop you in the fresh scent of lemon, bergamot and spearmint. The tube containing our silicone-free Shampoo gains sustainability points with its high percentage of recycled plastic.
The especially gentle composition of neem, rosemary and quince nurtures hair right to the tips. Essential oils of lemon, bergamot and spearmint provide freshness, while protein-rich chickpea extract protects the hair and leaves it more manageable. Valuable botanical extracts care for the scalp. Suitable for colored hair. Silicone-free.

Best shampoo I have ever used.
After about 4 uses, I am absolutely thrilled with this gentle, yet effective formula. I love the commitment Dr. Hauschka's lab has to using quality, clean, natural ingredients. My hair is very fine, curly and prone to breakage, now that I'm in my 50s. I see great improvement in scalp condition (not as oily as before), smoother strands that are less fly-away, and much softer texture.

The best shampoo for my fine, silk-like hair
I'm totally satisfied with the performance of this shampoo. I use it in combination with the conditioner and the hair tonic, but I used it on its own too and experienced the same wonderful results. My hair does not tangle anymore, it is shiny, soft but voluminous, and it does not need washing as often. Plus, it is perfectly compatible with my scalp and I love the discrete herbal scent it imparts to my hair. I've tried so many shampoos over the years and none came even close to this one. Excellent Product
I purchased this shampoo due to a recommendation. I have an allergy to store bought over the counter shampoo. When I buy salon shampoo and conditioner, I have no symptoms and now when I buy Dr. Hauschka’s products, I have no symptoms. To check the shampoo and conditioner I went about 5-7 days without washing my hair and I had no itching, no smell, nothing indicating that my hair required a wash. When I use store bought over the counter shampoo and conditioner, within two or three days my scalp will become unbearably itchy, caked with a thin white oily layer, so much so that I can’t sleep at night. I did not like Dr. Hauschka’s at first. It wouldn’t lather and it upset me but after using for three weeks, it finally started lathering because my scalp was finally free from the prior store bought products. Dr. Hauschkes provides the hair cleaning without any buildup and no allergic reaction. I didn’t give five stars because of the product amount to cost ratio.
