Description

Melissa Day Cream effectively cares for combination skin. Oily areas are calmed, dry patches are hydrated, the appearance of redness is reduced, and shine is controlled for a balanced, radiant complexion.

Formulation: Extracts of melissa, daisy, anthyllis, witch hazel and carrot soothe, helping to balance the skin’s natural oil and water. Tapioca starch provides an even, matte appearance.

Usage

Ideal for daily use on combination skin. Each morning after cleansing and toning, apply evenly to face, neck and décolleté with a gentle pressing motion. In general, a pea-sized amount offers enough product. For maximum benefit, apply while skin is still moist from toner. If breakouts and frequent blemishes are a problem, substitute Melissa Day Cream with a mixture of Revitalizing Day Lotion and 1-2 drops of Clarifying Day Oil. Protect against light and heat.

Tips

In the evening after cleansing, tone with Clarifying Toner then apply Night Serum as your final step.
For deeper nurturing care, we recommend weekly applications of Revitalizing Mask.

not hydrating enough

My skin is so dry from the winter. This is a nice face cream, but not hydrating enough for my skin. It goes on thick and takes a little time to absorb in my skin.

It seems nice; I haven’t used it long.

I have been using the Revitalizing Day Cream with a bit of Clarifying Oil on my T-zone. This is the first time I have tried the Melissa Day Cream. I don’t know how it will be long term but I think I will switch to it in summer as sometimes the Revitalizing DC seemed to leave my face a bit too shiny for makeup to adhere well in summer. I like the matte finish of the Melissa A LOT for the purpose of not needing powder to cut shine, or to just have a decrease in the shine that seems to develop on my t-zone in warm months. For dry winter months it seems like I maybe need a bit more moisture, so will continue with the Revitalizing DC until the humidity returns. Then I look forward to trying the Melissa DC daily!

The coverstick is BY FAR my FAVORITE coverup I have EVER used. It smells great, & doesnt make my breakout worse when trying to cover them up. It matches perfectly with my skintone too.The Melissa Day Cream is wonderful & you only need the tiniest bit. I originally got it as a sample from a friend & LOVED it. Worked great but left face "feeling" a little dry

To me it was more about "feel" than about the results with this one. I was using MDC (Melissa Day Cream) with the clarifying toner. My complexion did improve, and my face seemed pretty balanced while using it, but my face felt a little dry after applying, similar to when you walk out of the shower and forget to put your moisturizer on. This happened whether or not I used the toner. It would feel better after half an hour or so (probably after my skin produced some oil to make up for the dry feel), but it was very weird to me, so I went with the Rose Day Light instead, and I am no longer using the toner.

Melissa Day Cream

I used to use revitalizing day cream. It works fine in the winter. But it is a little bit sticky in the summer. I did a skin analysis and found out I have combination skin. I tried Melissa Day Cream sample for a couple of weeks. It was amazing. I love the smell and my skin looks soft, smooth and natural. Highly recommend it for combination skin.

My face is loving it

I am a loyal Dr Hauschka fun since my early 30s. I religiously have been using the cleansing milk the toner the cleansing cream the night serum and many other products occasionally. In my 40s I had to replace my beloved Revitalizing day cream with Melissa day cream, I believe pregnancies changed the hormonal balance therefor my skin type as well. I was hesitant since I loved my Revitalizing day cream even if it had started giving me outbreaks after 10 years of perfect compatibility but now I am so grateful. There is no other cream that gives me the elasticity and moist I still need keeping my complexion clear and radiant.

Love the texture

Melissa Day Cream is awesome!

Happy

I have sensitive skin and I also suffer from rosacea. It has been extremely hard finding a product that works. Melissa day cream has made my skin comfortable and I don’t feel like I want to wash of my face after couple of hours. Only thing i would want is a glass bottle that was bit bigger.

Great Summer Cream

Love Melissa cream for summer. My skin tends to get oily in heat and find that this cream hydrated without adding an oily layer. Will sometimes add a few drops of clarifying Day oil in the mix on cooler days. Since I switched to DH products my rosacea and breakouts have subsided greatly. Expensive product but I worth it!!

Perfect for combo/oily skin

I use this in warmer/humid weather w. a drop of the clarifying day oil. It's a perfect combo. It keeps my skin looking bright & not greasy. I only use the color correcting powder over the day cream. I no longer use foundation.

PERFECT for sensitive combination skin

I no longer need to carry oil absorbing sheets or powder as this perfectly balanced moisturizer lasts all day without being greasy or shiny. I am wearing a lot less makeup these days after switching to this moisturizer and the night serum! My skin is much smoother and brighter. In the past it was very red, blotchy and uneven with shininess and large pores.

Great moisturizer

I have combination skin and I like this day cream a lot. Its not as rich as the Rose day cream. The only con is I feel that I have to use a lot to fully moisturize my face (so the tube runs out so fast!). I've been using the cream with a few drops of the clarifying day oil to help make the product last longer.

Helps Balance

Like this moisturizers a lot. It is light and creamy, and helps to balance my combination skin. Finally

Finally an effective moisturizer that does not cause break outs. I use this every morning with and sometimes at night around my nose when it is extra dry. Light (yet actually delivers lasting moisture), integral ingredients make it smell nice, and not perfume-y.

Great Moisturizer for Combination Sensitive Skin

Beautiful cream and amazing smell!

I have used Dr. Hauschka for more than 30 years. I use the Melissa Day Cream on a regular basis, along with the Revitalizing Day Cream and the Soothing Cleansing Milk. The Melissa cream has the best smell imaginable. My skin is always hydrated and soft as silk. I don't even wear much makeup anymore!

Love it!

I have combination skin that is also pretty sensitive so it has always been quite difficult for me to find a moisturizer that doesn't irritate my skin, make me break out or leave my skin feeling dry. Melissa Day Cream is the perfect fit for my skin and I love the smell!

Wonderful Product!

This cream is perfect for my combination, aging skin. I live in Florida where it's warm much of the time, and this product is great because it's not too oily.
