Blusher Brush

I bought two of these brushes because I like them so much. One for home and one for my office. This brush can be used a precision powder brush, a blush brush, a highlighter brush, and even a foundation brush if you would like to achieve a sheer coverage that is easier to do with a brush vs. fingers. The synthetic bristles are very soft yet sturdy enough to hold their shape and keep product concentrated where you want it during application, and I like how the brush handle is big and easy to hold. There is a good balance between the handle and the ferrule+bristles. Dr.H brushes are very easy to clean in tepid water using a very mild soap; just swirl the bristle in your hand while making sure not to allow water to get into the ferrule, which also means lying them at an angle while drying rather than putting them straight up as that would allow water to soak downward into the ferrule and make the bristles begin to shed over time. These should easily last a decade, for sure, or longer without any shedding. The trick is never using hot water to clean them, always just tepid or cold, and never turning them with the brushes upward while they are wet, keep the brush always pointing downward, even when drying. It is easy by rolling up a wash cloth only half way, then just lying the brushes across the washcloth at an angle with the brush pointing downward for a couple of days until it is totally dry (that's what I do just to make sure it is absolutely dry before I turn it upward again and my brushes never shed). I have Dr.H brushes I bought 20 years ago and they are still in excellent condition, and I love the gold ferrules on them. They are the anti-cruelty old style goat fur type which I love as well as the synthetic but for different purposes. The goat type is harder to take care of as it needs actual shampoo and conditioner on it just like you put in your own hair.

The compact with brush is a plus. The blush is light, powdery and lovely as are the results when applied. Thank you for this quality product.

I've always used inexpensive brushes. This brush made a big difference in how the bronzer and blush went on my skin.

I bought this as a gift for my mom who loved it so much I decided to get one for myself! I'm glad I did - it is soft, picks up just the right amount of blush, and is easy to place the color where I want it to go on my cheeks.

The hairs are so fine and the brush is so soft and dense. Good product. 4 Stars only b/c of price.

This brush can be used for placing blush exactly where you want it then blending naturally, or for placing powder under the eyes due to the angled feature of the brush. I knock one star off for the fact that it is synthetic, as I prefer natural bristle brushes, but those seem to be getting harder to find and no longer made by Dr.Hauschka. I wish both were offered for those who know that the goat hair from Europe does not involve any animal cruelty, and goats love their fur to be sheared during the hot summer!

This brush is sturdy and very soft at the same time! I like it and my cheeks like it too.
