This brush is perfect for creating very precise eye make-up accents. The short brush head of the Dr. Hauschka Eye Definer Brush is slanted on one side to enable highly accurate colour application or shading, This precise brush works well with the classic Eyeshadow Blender Brush, which ensures even base colour application with its larger, rounded brush head.
This short, slanted brush is ideal for creating wonderful accents in the outer corner of the eye and around the lash line, and for shading the eyelid crease. The compact synthetic hairs enable precise product application.
Cleaning: wash brush hairs under warm water, creating a gentle lather with a little Dr. Hauschka Shower Cream. Rinse well. Finally, gently squeeze out the brush, carefully stroking back into shape. Place on a hand towel and leave to dry at room temperature.
Press the selected Eyeshadow shade onto the desired area with the brush and use gentle back-and-forth strokes to blend.

Great versatile brush
This brush can be used for a light dusting of the eye crease during the day, which can then be touched up with a darker colour of eye shadow when going day-into-evening. Or the very tip of the brush can be used to place a dark powder shadow as a feathery eye liner because the edge is dense enough. Additionally it can be used to place a packed amount of shadow on the eyelid. I use it to place white or pale glittering shadows on my eyelids on days when I'm in too much of a hurry to put on eyeliner. I love this brush!

A Necessity for Shading!
This brush was a splurge for me and I'm glad I made the decision. I didn't realize what a difference it would make to use a high-quality eyeshadow brush, especially for careful placement of a bit darker shade in the outside corner of my eyes. It picks up a good amount of shadow and applies on smoothly. The brush is very soft and gentle, as well. Love it.

the new synthetic DH brushes are nice, with fairly heavy handles that balance out in the hand to avoid undue straining on the wrist during application, but I do prefer natural goat hair brushes because of how they apply powder differently from the synthetic brushes.

Great small angle brush
The eye definer brush works great when working in the crease or small areas. The bristles are sturdy but soft. It is easy to use this for definition, but it wouldn't work well for more overall coverage or larger areas. It does exactly what it claims to do and I'm very pleased with the product.
