In the early 1960’s cosmetologist Elisabeth Sigmund teamed up with chemist Dr. Rudolf Hauschka to create a holistic system for restoring skin health and beauty. Dr. Hauschka had been formulating holistic remedies for years and was intrigued by the work Ms. Sigmund had been doing at her clinic in Sweden, where she employed combinations of healing plant extracts and gentle rhythmic touch to transform and rejuvenate her clients’ complexions.
